They are all good thoughts... > I have been using Open Office writer for only a short period of time and > enjoy using it, but there were a few issues I thought were minor but still > important to me. The first is the spell/ grammatical check. I know there is > a spell check, but is there a grammatical check due out for writer? There is not currently a grammar checker for OOo. I'm unsure whether there is currently one being developed.

I thought of this since there are so many people > in the world who have taken on Word and not Open Office... yet. You can make MS .doc the default file format for users saving there documents, but this won't mean that all 'formatting issues' will go away. The reason that there may be some small issues is that MS file format is secret and OOo has to 'guess' at it (which it does well). If the documents are saved as .doc transparently to the users then that should resolve most of the issues. > And lastly, is there a way that I can make that pesky mouse disappear when I > am typing? It tends to get in the way of me reading the screen. Not that I'm aware of. /paul > Sincerely, > > Greg Knight > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
