I have tried installing OpenOffice vsn 2.0 four times now, and each time I experience the same basic problem. I cannot use the scrolling arrows to move through the document, they become as though completelyb stuck, ie by pressing up/down, left/right arrows the cursor stays in the same place and doesn't move. Neither will the backspace move. I have checked with the person who recommended OO to me, but they have version1, and there seem no problems with the arrow keys/cursor there. Re-installing, or removing and re-downloading and installing again has not helped. I am on the point of giving it all up as a bad job and buying MS Word instead!
I have a Sony Notebook VAIO T VGN-T1XP/L, running Windows XP. Currently I use Microsoft Works word processor and have no similar problems with this (arrows/cursor). No, it is not a problem with the scroll lock on the computer either! Hope you can help. Thanks. Elizabeth Currie
