Because things did not work yet. If I was alone, then that is a
strange thing. Two or more, there is a problem...
, and I am still not clear if you (and the other user with the same
problem) actualy dragged the application from the disk image to the
applications folder (or other folder on your hard drive).
I grabbed the application and put it on my hard drive.
I don't think that moving the package to your desktop will work
either.
Does X11 lauch when you launch 2.0?
I never noticed this, but X11 does not launch. So, for fun, I launched
X11, then launched OO 2.x, and it works!!!!
Can any one explain this non-automatic-launching of X 11?
Thanks for asking this question. It solved the problem.
But, it also brings up the question: Why does X11 not launch? I have
used GIMP in the past, and also OO 1.x.
