Do you mean page sizes, or number of pages? There are examples in the
OOo documentation set that have over 500 pages. There is no reason in
theory why OOo should not allow much larger documents than this.

This may be better asked elsewhere, perhaps the OOo marketing
volunteers, but in short, there is no warranty. As for all software that
I've ever seen, free or commercial, there is a warranty disclaimer that
places the responsibility for determining fitness for purpose, and for
any and all damages or losses in the event of failure of the software
onto the user.

To compensate for that though, you usually get free software updates -
and in the case of free software, this is perpetual for both new feature
updates and for bug fixes.
