Do you mean page sizes, or number of pages? There are examples in the OOo documentation set that have over 500 pages. As for all software that I've ever seen, free or commercial, there is a warranty disclaimer that places the responsibility for determining fitness for purpose, and for any and all damages or losses in the event of failure of the software onto the user.
