I think the OP is saying that he's got numbers in his Excel document (so
they don't have an apostrophe to start with--they're used in
calculations and the like) and they turn up as text with the apostrophe
when he opens that doc in Calc.
If that's the case, Jerry, I don't know the answer, but I hopefully will
have made the question clearer. Please correct us if we've made wrong
assumptions.
