That is exactly how I set it when I installed. But it sees a standard
US QWERTY keyboard when I type, not the QWRTZ format I have, which
also means the umlauts are not there and the colons and other marks
are on different keys.
All of the other applications see the German keyboard and work accordingly.
Suggestions?

Tools -> Options -> Language Settings -> Locale ?
