Thanks first off for this free download. It's definitely better than Notepad.

However, I have trouble with this OpenOffice program. It's supposed to sub
for Microsoft Office, but what I had perfectly set up in Word, is radically
changed in OpenOffice.
My main problem is that all my graphics/ pictures which printed fine out of
Word, are no longer printing out of Writer. I can see them on the page, and
adjust them to fit the document, but when I go to print, then they just come
out as black marks.
Also, in Draw, why does it open with the colour blue? What is that about?
And I tried to save these graphics in Draw, but they only showed as "Object 1",
with an icon so I couldn't visualize what I wanted to work on.
So I'd love it if I can get some help with this.
I just couldn't figure out on the website simply how to ask a question. What's
with that, too?
Thanks again for this program though. It has helped to have it.

Look at Tools/Options/ OOo-Writer/Print to see if the buttons are pushed
for all the elements you want to print, including graphics.
