Please excuse the repeat submission. The last time I inadvertently added
this query to another thread.
Just finished installing SCIM in Ubuntu 5.1. I can enter (pinyin)Chinese
in terminal, Evolution and Thunderbird, but every time I try in
OpenOffice (2.01), it crashes. I've tried it several times, and every
time OO crashes ... with phenomenal speed I might add! Simplified
Chinese is selected in Tools - Options - Language Settings - Languages -
Asian. Never had this problem while entering Chinese in OO under
Windows. Any suggestions?
