>From your description I would guess that you have installed single user
rather than as multi-user.  Please check the installation steps in the
SETUP_GUIDE.pdf that is in the install set. I will bet that by starting
from scratch you will get where you want to go. On the off chance that
the 1.1.5 setup guide is deleted you can get a copy on-line at
http://documentation.openoffice.org/
