I don't know where they are stored, but you COULD (I guess) copy the macro
to a specific document and then backup that document. Then, after
reinstalling, copy the macro back again.
I unfortunately on a Windows 98 system (hating it all the time so I guess
I will change that sooner or later) so I guess I can't help you there.
However, I guess I can tell you where the macros are on my system and that
might give you an idea about where to look, or maybe not...
I found them on my machine here:
[Search path to where all my programs are
stored]\OpenOffice.org\share\basic\
and
[Search path to where all my programs are
stored]\OpenOffice.org\user\basic\
Maybe this info will inspire you to search for where they are on your
system.
