Please help, I have spent a day preparing a letter using word, then opened
it in Open Office and exported it as a pdf file. I must have done something
drastically wrong as the document has saved in almost numerical numbers with
boxes and circles and takes up to over 40 papers. The original document was
four pages of writing.
I am in a panic, how do i get back to the correct format.
I am using windows xp and the latest version of open office which i
downloaded two weeks ago from your site.
Any guidance would be very much appreciated.
Thank you
Sarah

Did you try to double click on the document? It should either open in
Word or OOo. I can't imagine how you can mess up the original document.
Any strange saves would be a different document type or the exact document.
What program is showing the strange characters?
