Personally, I dont see where the integration is significant - I prefer
the "bolt on" approach....
I also dont know about everyone else (I run Linux), but for the
following I use:
- A Project programm intergrated
GanttProject
- A mailclient intergrated with calander, a taskscheduler and
adressbook
Thunderbird, Firefox and OEX, or evolution if I need to connect to MS
Exchange.....
- A Flowchart Program intergrated
OpenOffice Draw creates very nice charts..... I use Umbrello for UML
design.....
- A conversion option from ms access to Open Office Base
(intergrated)
I dont convert to Open Office Base Databse, but have moved Access
databases to MySQL using a perl utility that slips my mind at the moment
- A Publisher Program intergrated
Scribus
- A webbased Program like Frontpage intergrated.
OOWeb using webdav..... But, admittedly I mostly use Plone/Zope for web
projects.... I use OOWeb for designing what I want it to look like, then
use the code as boilerplate for an automated process...
