The problem is that some of the folks posting via Gmane expect replies
to come directly to them rather than the NewsGroup (mailing list.) Thus
replies are missed and then the original poster comes back with a

I have run into this problem on the Mac porting mail list where
we also answer MacIntosh specific questions on several occasions.
Also, requesting that someone subscribe to this list to get a one-off
answer is very rude, at best. It might be best to see if the Gmane
folks can put a warning that message replies to the OpenOffice.org
mailing lists will go to the newsgroup rather than to the individual
poster and that they must check back for replies.

Do all gmane posts have the same gmane headers? Such as:
X-Injected-Via-Gmane: http://gmane.org/
Sender: news <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Because then those of us that have filters to highlight unsubscribed
posters (those that go to the moderator) can also flag these in order to
send responses cc'd to the OP.
