It could be that the computer doesn't recognize the file as an OOo file.
Since OOo isn't open when you try to launch the file, I would point
fingers at the desktop environment, or at Samba, if Samba is responsible
for file associations.
Hmmm. But I also try to right click and then say "Open with
OpenOffice.org". If OOo isn't open, it opens with a blank file, like the
file name didn't get passed properly. I recall reading something about a
%U thing to add to the command.
Anyone have experience with this?
