Agreed. However there are many users asking questions on this list who have no
idea about the concept of a mailing list - nor even about why they would
subscribe. l do not hold that against them for the first 2/3 questions, and
even try to make sure that they get CC:ed on responses. Thankfully many other
invaluable contributors on this list are doing likewise. note that I also
email a standard reply to all moderated posters to give them some information
( including how to subscribe or to use a news feed).
