[users] How to open Mac .do file from Openoffice in Linux PC

Hi,

I got a document from a friend that created and sent from a Mac (*.do
file).I tried to open it from MS-Office in Windows PC  and OpenOffice in
Feodra Linux PC. It asks for some format and if I click OK it opens a file
with junk charecter set.
Please advice how to open a Mac .do file from Openoffice.
