People,

I did not get a response to this so I am reposting in the hope that
someone with a fix will see the post this time . .

Thanks,

Subject: SO7 -> OOo1.1/2.0 different table row heights?
Date: Fri, 11 Aug 2006 16:36:41 +1000
People,

I have a large number of SO7 sxw files that are templates for a command
line, mail merge operation (I manually unzip the sxw file, do global
replacements, rezip the file and send the result to the printer).

I want to move the setup from SO7 to OOo1.1 (the OOo2 rpm is not
available for the PPC) but the files look/print differently in the two
systems eg when I do the following in SO7:

- Open a new A4 doc
- Set all margins to 2cm
- Insert a table, using Courier 12 pt, and increase the number of rows
to fill the page (in this case 39 rows)
- Save the doc, open it in OOo1.1 (or OOo2 on another machine) and I
find the table only fits 37 lines on the page with the table overflowing
to the next page . .

It appears that the padding above and below the the 12 pt font of the
cell texts is different in the two environments? - if I force the the
OOo1.1 row heights back to 0.65 it is almost back to how it looked in
SO7. Is there some checkbox or something in OO1.1/OO2 that will allow
the file to look exactly like it did in SO7?

Thanks,

Phil.
