Thank you for this information. It was not on the OpenOffice.org documentation site. Does this also mean that Base should be able to read dBase formatted files on a Mac? I have not been able to do so. (See thread on Downloading dBase files that I was involved in.) I have not tried this on my WindowsXP SP2 system, yet.
