Interesting behavior, but if what you are trying to do is save and
capture Web pages, you're better off simply creating PDFs of them
directly from the browser using the free, open source PDF Creator
(Google it, first link).
Alternatively, have you tried ditching IE and going to Firefox? It's a
better browser, and it might just not cause the behavior you are
encountering.
