I prefer to call it OOoFSF Premium after the fine folks (FSF.hu
Foundation) that put it together
(http://www.fsf.hu/en/about_us.en.html), as OOo Premium implies that it
is an "official" OOo release and it is not.

That said, I've been testing the Linux version for nearly 2 weeks now
and have had absolutely no problems with it.
Disclaimer: I've not tried the Base functions yet as I have little/no
experience using OOo Base.

While testing I've removed all previous versions of OOo and have it
running on the following:

Machine #1
OS: Ubuntu Linux 6.061 LTS Kernel: 2.6.15.26-386
Mem: at least 256MB
CPU: PII 450Mhz

Machine #2
OS: Ubuntu Linux 6.061 LTS Kernel: 2.6.15.26-386
Mem: 292MB
CPU: PII 400Mhz
Installed: OOo_2.0.3_060819_LinuxIntel_rpm_install.tar.gz
[note: deb versions were not available when I downloaded & intalled]

The only problem (not really a problem) that I encountered after the
install is that the GNOME menus were set to root so I had to change the
file ownerships to user. However that may simply have been my fault in
the way that I did the installation.

Since installing I've:

- added about 100 TTF fonts (I've only tested about 25 of them) that I
simply ported over from a Windows drive,

- tested printing to a Canon Pixma 750 (using the TurboPrint drivers),

- used it for editing a 250 technical user manual converted from an
Indonesian MS Word document, including editing and adding new styles,
TOC, indexing, frame & drawing inserts, etc,

- used Calc to import, modify and print my existing invoice forms (from
both Word and OOo Windows), modify and print extensive inventory
spreadsheets (over 1000 items), etc.

Overall it is working just fine for me. I'd recommend that anyone
wishing to give the Linux version a try to go ahead and do it.

Thanks to Kami & all the folks at the FSF.hu Foundation that have worked
so hard in putting this together.

Added disclaimer: I've no idea who Kami and/or the FSF.hu Foundation
actually are and have no relation to them or their project; I was
building a couple of spare Ubuntu test machines and decided to give this
version a try. Since installation I've been using it every day from the
test machines for my normal consulting work. So far I've not encountered
any problems.
