In my experience, links never work on adobe PDFs, no matter what they link to.  
I would suggest exporting your document to HTML instead, if you can, or even 
XHTML (though I tried that and it didn't work on Internet Explorer, so go 
figure).  As to your other question, though, I have no idea.
