Dear Users, or Anyobody who can help,
I have very recently converted to the fine open-source word processor
OpenOffice.org, just to find that I will have to put up aside R.
Hancock's excellent and very smooth Antioch, which worked fine with MS
Word, but nohow with OOo. I was experimenting with a package named
Thessalonica, but it didn't work at all (it was designed to run under
OOo1.0.1*). Then I tried Tavultesoft's Keyman, but was unable to figure
out how to configure my keyboard so as to be able to type Greek text in
that simple way which made Antioch so comfortable to handle. I wonder if
you have some suggestions to solve my problem. I find Open Office an
excellent and ingenious word processor, and now nearly everything is
ready to work on it, including the typing of cyrillic characters and
other features, so I feel reluctant to give it in to MS Office. I have a
WinXP Home Ed. platform, Service Pack 2, run by a 1.5 GHz, 400 MHz FSB 1
MB L2 cache Intel Celeron M processor.
I would be extremely grateful for any suggestions.
