X11 is GUI software for unix and linux. It is found on the OS Install disk under Options. With X11, you can use many Linux and unix graphics programs. Do not download the X11 available from the Apple Website as it is for OS 10.3.

Another alternative is to download Neo Office, which does not require added X11 enabling. Both applications run fine.

Hi

I have recently tried loading the version 2.0.3 to my intel mac and it asks for X11 to be loaded to my computer I understand this to be networking software ...... since my laptop is for home use i have no need for X11 (cost about A$120)

is there a way to load OOo to an intel mac without purchasing and loading X11?

Kind regards
