Yes. Read *carefully* the message that comes back asking for confirmation.
Carefully. And do what it asks.

The reason for this apparent complexity is that without it someone else
could unsubscribe you without your knowing or subscribe you againast your
will. By replyting to the confirmation request you prove that it was you who
sent the request in the first place and not somebody else spoofing your
e-mail address.

This is absolutely normal for e-mail support groups.
