I have not used MS Office XP or 2003 - you can probably find comments on
particular aspects in some of the guides especially the Migration Guide
at
http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors2/0600MG-MigrationGuide.pdf
One problem some users have is that VBA macros will not run in OOo Calc
(equivalent to Excel)
