Thanks.  The Drawing toolbar in OOo on Linux has no "Text box" button.

Presumably you have inserted a formula in the text box.

Kirill, this has me foxed. What is the nature of "that text box"? It is not the same as a text box inserted using the Forms Control toolbar. How was it created?

In Excel, if you change contents of A1, text displayed in text box changes. In Calc it does not.

This spreadsheet does use macros and visual basic. Calc uses a different basic, which while similar is not compatable in
