This can only be guaranteed for the "official" edition (as stated in my original post), for distro modified editions the programme is often installed under /usr/lib or /usr/lib64 > For your menu shortcuts, you need to use the full path unless you are > using commands or links in /usr/bin or some such folder recognised as > path, which /opt normally is not.
