Hi Laura/Isis,
I would recommend that you try restarting your computer to see if
that helps. You may also find updating to the latest version of
OpenOffice.org 2.1 would also help to get ooo back.
Do you have the right page setup?
Try 'Format' > 'Page' and look for the option to set the page size.
Someone else should be able to help give you some more information.
Please let us know how you get on with the above suggestions.

Hi- Hope you can help me with this- I am in UK, using my daughter's
laptop with OpenOffice, org 2.0 There HAD been an icon on the
toolbar(?) at the bottom of the screen that had a means of
accessing the Open Office stuff she had downloaded to this
computer- Last night I was working on designing a spreadsheet for
my friend Bea to use. I finished it, and looked at a preview of it,
but it is the wrong size; it doesn't fill the page, but only covers
a small portion of the page to be printed. I don't know how to
increase its size so that the entire page would print correctly.
Also, today, when I went to try to access this, in hopes of
figuring it out, I noticed that the icon is no longer at the bottom
of the screen, and every time I try to open any OO file that is
saved to this desktop, I get a message that says "Either another
instance of Open Office.org is accessing your personal settings or
your personal settings are locked. Simultaneous access can lead to
inconsistencies in your personal settings. Before continuing, you
should make sure the user 'closes Open Office.org on host'. Do you
want to continue? (yes or no)
I have no idea what I am supposed to do. I would like to know, and
also, I'd like to put the icon back onto the bottom of the screen
(which has other icons.ie.whether I am connected, a virus scanning
thing, etc. And I would like to know how to make the spreadsheet an
appropriate size for correct printing. I don't know how to do any
of that, and I don't know how to close Open Office.org on host. I
saved the thing I'm working on on the desktop- but can't access it.
(I don't know what, or if, my daughter had set up any registration
with a password- and she's in Colorado, and doesn't get to ck her
email often on the computer at home, so asking her might not work
either(she just had a baby, and is looking after the house, and
working, so she doesn't have any free time at the moment). Please
advice- step by step- as I am fairly iliterate on computers, and I
could use some help here! Thanks. Laura If you have her regitered
anywhere, my daughter's name is Isis - she just had her named
changed in court from Isis Haugh to Isis Rich, if that may be of
any help. Thanks again, Mom (Laura Rich)
