I got OpenOffice.org 1.1 from a CD last year and am using it on Windows 98 Ed2.
It installed, and looks interesting, but I cannot use it for editing or
printing documents received in Word because it distorts the Word format.
During installation I unfortunately set an option to "yes" which asked: Would I
like documents received in Word to be opened automatically by OpenOffice. I
simply cannot find a way to uninstall OpenOffice 1.1 or to modify this
preference, although it should be there.
