Hi there, I've just installed Open Office and made a shortcut to open it on my desktop, found something called writer in the file list that was an exe. file but it won't open anything when I double click on it. Which is the file to select to be able to open the writer bit of the programme from my desktop. windows 2000. Thankyou so much, Ruth
