You may be able to get it still from one of the mirrors: 
http://distribution.openoffice.org/mirrors/index.html#mirrors

Before you go to that trouble, you could try renaming the folder containing
your user settings.  I imagine you are using a Windows OS, so the path is
something like:
c:\documents and settings\username\Application Data\ OpenOffice.org2\

Rename the last folder to something like OpenOffice.org2.maybe (after
exiting OOo processes including the Quick Starter).  Your next re-start will
be from scratch (= original settings, welcome, registration) but, possibly,
free of the problem you describe.
