If you are running a Mac it is in:

<User Directory>/Library/Application Support/Thunderbird/Profiles/<profile 
number>/chrome

In Linux it is in:
~/.thunderbird/profiles/<profile name>/chrome (if my memory serves me correctly)

I think in Windows this value has to be in the registry.
