[users] [moderated] Have not been able to load openoffice

I have tried to download openoffice four times and have uninstalled and  then 
tried to download.  Each time I get a message that the program  has been 
successfully installed.  The icon on the desk top read openoffice  install not 
openoffice write as it does on my other computer which I  successfully 
installed 
openoffice. What can I do to install openoffice on my  laptop?     David
