Hello,
I am using NeoOffice for Mac, and I had a question about the
compression used in OO and NeoOffice.
I know it is meant to save disk space and all. But, when a file is
only a page or two of text, it is already pretty small, so I really do
not need it.
I find that when I save anything on my Mac in NeoOffice (as well inOO)
the saving freezes all other NeoOffice actions for 20-30 seconds. This
is kind of annoying, and I am obliged to stop and wait for it.
Why is it that a Word document of equal size takes 1second, and OO and
NeoO takes 20-30?
Can we turn off the compression? Or, is this a negative aspect of
NeoOffice and OO?
Thanks
Joe
