[users] A map ?

Where can I find a map showing where the files and folder should be  
placed in the different systems (mine is Mac OS X.4) ?
I suspect that my impossibility to have the spellchecker working is  
due to a wrong situation of the files (Il downloaded two times the  
DicOO) and the Writer doesn't find it).
Sorry for my silly comment about the trackpad of the Macbook : the  
solution is in the Finder's preferences.
