Hi,

You can however download a converter to convert docx files to other formats that OpenOffice can read. Try a google search for docx converters. There are plenty of free ones.

Can you please how to open, read and possibly edit .docx file generated by MS Office 2007.
I am currently using Open Office .1.1.4
Even the latest version of OOo (2.1) does not open the new MS formats
natively. The import/export filters are being worked on and they will
be in future releases of OOo.

You should really upgrade to 2.1 - you'll notice alot of changes.

Huh ?? Defender doesn't stop spyware (Webroot) ; firewall is only 50%
effective (Zdnet) ; UAC can be turned off and is annoying ; SP1 (incl
security reasons) due end of 2007...
