Hello I use a Brother P-Touch QL-550 label printer with endless labels.
If I print to this printer from OpenOffice.org (e. g. from Writer), OpenOffice.org seems not to honor the configured enless label size, but seems to choose the next suitable lenght available. (I set the page format to a small enough size, and chose the label format in the printing options dialog.) This leads to an error message from the printer driver that the inserted label format doesn't match the chosen label format. I don't exactly know what internally happens. I suppose that OpenOffice.org queries the available formats from the printer driver, but doesn't support endless sizes (and thus sets a suitable non-endless size). Printing from Windows Notepad with an endless size works as expected. The version of OpenOffice.org I use is 2.0.2. I tried to set the label size "62mm, endless". Can anyone help? Thanks a lot.
