Hi,
I selected the item I wanted. Clicked on custom animation at the
right hand side. Chose my animation (eg appear, on click).
Voila each bullet point appears when I click.
If you want a whole text box to appear at once select the whole box
before choosing the Custom Animation.
If you cannot see Custom Animation at the side click on Slide Show ->
custom animation.

the first item of the bullet-list for the slide at a time, and each
