My problem in this regard will be slightly different; when I finally retire my old machine and get a new one, I'll probably still have to pay the "Windows tax" for the inclusion of a system I'll scrub pretty well immediately.

ANSWER: anyone who is buying a new computer which comes with Vista in the first place. But more to the point: the new download page should be much clearer. It uses the phrase All Windows.

Hello, I would like to know, if I can use Open Office 2.1
version with my new Windows Vista System.
Yep - OOo will work fine on Vista. There are some minor issues
that will be worked out in the up and coming 2.2 version of OOo.

Hi all

I have just put in an RFE for the website for
http://download.openoffice.org/2.1.0/index.html?focus=download

asking for Vista to be added to the Windows download button

http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=75537

Let's hope it helps reduce the Vista flood.
