Did you try using CALC? When your table is completed then do a
copy/paste into Writer.

Hi all.
I'm trying to achieve something in Writer, but I can't find the
solution. I have two long pieces of text, one in English and the other
is its translation into Spanish. I want to run them side-by-side, two
columns on a page like this:
Aa <- Page 1
Bb <- Page 2
Cc <- Page 3
Dd <- Page 4
Ee <- Page 5
Ff <- Page 6
Gg <- Page 7
Hh <- Page 8
(where "ABCDEFGH" is the English text, "abcdefgh" is the Spanish text,
"Aa" is the two columns, side-by-side on the first page, "Bb" is the
two columns, side-by-side on the second page etc.)
I've tried using "Columns" in the "Page Style", but the columns then
run like this:
AB
CD
EF
GH
i.e. the English text runs from the left-hand column of a page onto
the right-hand column of that page. Instead, I want the text to run
from the left-hand column of a page onto the left-hand column of the
next page, and likewise for the right-hand column to flow into the
right-hand column of the next page.
Does anyone know if I can do this? Thanks in advance, Jaime :-)
