If you use "layers", the text could be on a layer
that is actually in back of the drawing. Try using
an alignment option (somewhere) and make the
original drawing the background and the text in the
foreground.

Subject: [users] OPEN OFFICE DRAW PACKAGE

HELLO,
I AM TRYING TO ADD TEXT TO MY DRAWING, BUT AS SOON AS I FINISH THE TEXT AND MOVE OUT OF THE AREA, IT DISAPPEARS. WHEN I HIGHLIGHT AGAIN, IT SHOWS. THIS IS
VERY ANNOYING, AND NOT SURE WHAT I HAVE DONE WRONG.

  ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

          THANK YOU,

                 DAVID
