Hi Nancy...I just went thru the same thing.  But here is a solution that works 
for me:

In Windows, you also have the Quickstarter icon in the System 
tray near the computer clock. (It is three birds flying on a blue and 
gray background.) When you right click the Quickstarted program, a 
menu appears from which you have several choices.


 
    UNITED
We can't lose
   DIVIDED
We can't win

Try the START menu. Make shortcuts there and move them to the desktop if
