1st: thanks for starting a new thread.
2nd: the "native" saving mode for Impress is .odp or
OpenDocumentPresentation. It is classified as XML. Have a look here:

Thanks for the reply. But saved .odp seems like a binary file (Not an
xml ) when opened in any text editor.
