Hello,
   I'm using OpenOffice version 2.2.

The financial function NPER in Calc would appear to be using
the wrong equation, at least for when fv is zero, i.e.

  n = log(1 + pv * rate / pmt) / log(1 + rate)

The correct equation should be

  n = log(1 - pv * rate / pmt) / log(1 + rate)

If you feel that there is a bug, then you can create a issue (of type = bug)
for the developers to have a look at. It would be good to provide actual
examples to support your case.
