Odd. I didn't get that when installing on Vista Home Premium. However, when I tried to install 2.2.1 with the JRE, I got CRC error reported. There was not actually a CRC error, and the same download installed on XP without problems. I finally installed the JRE (from Sun) separately, then installed the download of OpenOffice without JRE. If you're installing the "with JRE" version, you might want to try this.
