What type of 'publishing' do you wish to do? With OpenOffice (OOo) you can use nearly all of your existing Word templates (and documents). You can easily create newsletters, flyers, brochures, business cards, press releases, fax messages, books, job advertisements, promotional letters, presentations, spreadsheets, drawings, etc., etc. OOo does not include a great many templates by default, however if you explore the documentation section of the OOo website, you'll find these: http://www.openoffice.org/ http://support.openoffice.org/index.html http://documentation.openoffice.org/ http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/index.html You can find additional free resources on the web. And (highly recommended) for $6.95 you can purchase more than 80 very useful templates from Sun Microsystems which include templates for all that I've listed above. All the templates work just fine with OOo. Also, please note that this list is comprised of users of OOo and any response/support that you receive comes from other users (like myself). --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
