If there's no necessity for the others to edit such a file
(only to open and to read it) the best result would be to export
as *.pdf (File|Export as PDF ... or File|Send|E-mail as PDF ...).
... or let them give a kick to MS Word ->
(for users of Microsoft Office 2000, XP and 2003 ...]
