I'm curious about "won't let me use any programs from my work" -- do you
mean that you're having trouble using files in your work location that
were created with OpenOffice.org (OOo), or what? OOo does not disable
anything, but sometimes there are problems with whether the files are
saved in the right formats for their intended use, or whether the right
programs are being associated with the files by the operating system. It
would be helpful if you could give examples of what was going wrong that
you think requires OOo to be uninstalled.
