That's a good move. However, after you've done that and are comfortable that the file is safe, can you then please try the Save As suggestions that I've recommended; save as an MS Word Doc: File|Save As| then in the File type box click the down arrow/carrot and select Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP(.doc) and then check "Automatic file name extension"? > > cc'd to Olin.
