  OpenOffice.org Calc Options  Defines various settings for spreadsheets, 
contents to be displayed, and the cursor direction after a cell entry. You can 
also define sorting lists, determine the number of decimal places and the 
settings for recording and highlighting changes. 
                To access this command... 
  Open a spreadsheet document, choose Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org Calc 

  


  Then, tick the box that says "formulas." You could write a keyboard macro to 
toggle between the two views.
   
  But, no, I know of no way to do what you want as is possible in MS Excel.
